Can you believe it? The holiday season is here already. The season for giving and spending time with family and friends. Wishing you a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.

The Old Newsboys paper sale will be Friday, December 13, 2024. Be on the lookout for our Members on the corners, and see the tree captains in your plant to make a donation for Old Newsboys. You can also see our secretary Donna at the Union Hall.

Our Local 659 Community Service Committee is taking donations for new, unwrapped, American-made toys for Old Newsboys. There will be drop boxes in your respective plants or you can drop your donations off at UAW Local 659 Union Hall. For questions or more information, contact your Community Service Rep inside your plant or call the Union Hall. The toy drive will be held from December 2, 2024 through December 19, 2024.

UAW Local 659 Recreation and Women’s Committees are presenting the Kids Christmas Party on December 15, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm here at the Union Hall. There will be movies, refreshments and a picture with Santa. Bring your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A good time will be had by all.

On December 8, 2024, we will be having our General Membership meeting at 1:00 pm. Please bring an American-made, unwrapped, new toy for Toys for Tots.
