Brothers and Sisters,

As we come to the end of the year, I would like to thank our workers for always being there to set up our Union Hall for Bingo, Chapter Meetings, and our Holiday Dinners. Thank you!

I would like to remind everyone to use their OTC card before the end of January, it will reboot to $400 and you will lose whatever was left on it.

Also, our HRA (WEX card) will increase to $1,000. If you still don’t understand how to do it, we will have the Medical Trust at our Chapter Meeting on January 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., here at the Union Hall. Please try to attend to understand you benefits.

Please read your Searchlight for our events and dates for our ticket sales and to remind everyone that our ticket sales will be on our Bingo and Chapter meeting dates. So please, read your Searchlight.

On another note, I would like to remind our Associate Members not to forget to renew their membership. Remember, the 659 Union Hall will have a busy year in 2026, with the CAP Conference, our Local Elections, Constitutional Convention, and UAW Officers Election. So, please try to renew your membership before the day of the event.

I would like to thank Vice President Anthony Davis for taking the lead on getting heat to the Retirees’ Office, men’s and women’s bathrooms, and the hallway back entrance. Thank you!

On a final note, the Executive Board and I, along with and our families, would like to wish our membership (both active and retired) a very Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
