Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

The Shop Committee would like to welcome everyone back from the Thanksgiving Holiday. We hope everyone had time to spend with their loved ones.

This year has been different, and through all the trials and tribulations, our UAW Sisters and Brothers have shown their hard work, excellence, and dedication.

The giving season is in full swing, and the Old Newsboys Campaign needs your help! We have representatives from both the 1st and 2nd shifts selling Christmas bulbs and stars. Please help those who are less fortunate than we are during this holiday season, and remember to – “Let No Child Be Forgotten.”

This year, ONB donations from the CCA-Flint golf outing were $6,200, Bowling was $3,382, and paper sales were $15,906 – without the change being counted. Women’s Committee donations for breast cancer reached $5,415.85, and 5,590+ bags of clothes were donated to Crossover Outreach.

The Shop Committee, along with our appointed UAW representatives and Local Executive Board, would like to wish our members and Retirees a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please drive safely and be safe in all that you do during the holidays.

We would also like to wish Regional Director Steve Dawes, Assistant Director Scott Zuckschwerdt and their staff, along with Local 659 President Alex Ortiz, Vice President Anthony Davis, and their officers and staff a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
