On a sad note, one of our workers passed away, Matt McEwen. Let us keep his family in our prayers.

As you get this paper, our elections for Local and Chapter offices will be over, unless we have a runoff and that will be on the 30th of April.

There will be another election on May 7th for Constitutional Delegates. Retirees may run for delegate and vote from their respected plants that they retired from. Unfortunately, if a retiree wants to run for delegate, they have to run against active workers, so we have a disadvantage.

We are the biggest and loudest voice, so please come to the Union Hall on May 7th and vote for your respective delegate from the plant you retired from. You might be surprised that a retiree may be running, so please vote no matter who’s on the ballot.

If you missed signing up for our annual picnic, the alternate date will be on May 7th.

There have been a lot of Members calling and asking about time and dates of our Chapter meetings. On the first Tuesday of the month is our Bingo, and on the third Tuesday of the month is our Chapter meetings. All start at 10:30 am.

Upcoming Bingo/Chapter Meeting Dates

• April 7, 2026 Bingo, April 21, 2026 Chapter Meeting
• May 5, 2026 Bingo, May 19, 2026 Chapter Meeting
• Because of the Convention and picnic, we will have our Bingo/Chapter Meeting together on June 2, 2026 at 10:30 am
• July & August – NO MEETINGS
• September 1, 2026 Bingo, September 15, 2026 Chapter Meeting

Please keep the above dates open, so you can plan on attending.

Don’t forget that you have until April 30th to claim your WEX Card/money for the year 2025. If you can’t find it, go to the Social Security Office and have them print one out for you.
