Brothers and Sisters,

On a sad note, Metal Fab and Local 659 lost a friend and great Union man, Jim Delair. Delair was a Shop Committeeman, International Rep. on temporary assignment, and Vice President of our great Local. Let us keep Jim’s family in our prayers.

As we end the year, the Executive Board and our families, along with our tireless volunteers, would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We would also like to see our membership participation grow.

I would like to remind everyone to hang on to their Over-the-Counter (OTC) card. At the beginning of the year, they will reload your card.

Hopefully, by the time you receive this Searchlight, the bonuses will be paid out.

Now on a final note, please continue to read the Searchlight to keep up on our events. Our Easter dinners will be held on April 15 and April 16, 2025.

Please be proactive on your health and keep your shots current.

Once again, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
